It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally here. And we’re in love with this beautiful new space. It has all the feels of an eclectic old beach house. Every piece placed in here has been individually sourced from far and wide and comes with a story of its own, some crazier than others. Feel free to ask, there’s a good story behind it all. And our studio owner and designer, Tamara, is always up for a good story.

Speaking of good stories, here’s one.. Locals will know that this is not Palmfolk’s first home. Initially we were directly across the street in The Old Courthouse. It was beautiful, but our space was just too small. At the same time, this abandoned and derelict old building was sitting right across the street calling my name. After tracking down the owners and convincing them to lease it to me, I was handed the keys and with rose colored glasses, as a single mum with no construction experience, began a ‘little reno’, with plans to reopen in 6 weeks. And Voila! Nine months later here we are, ready to open our new doors. Simple. Ha!
