Palmfolk is a creative event space on the Sunshine Coast, inspired by the laid-back charm of old beach house holidays and the simple joy of getting together around a table with good people.
There’s pottery... but, Palmfolk isn’t really about pottery. It’s about everything that happens around it.
The conversations, the laughs, the coffee, the wine, the people you bring together, and that feeling of stepping away from the everyday for a little while. We just happen to have clay on the tables.
Think of us as your own little holiday house, without the packing, the planning or the long drive. A place to switch off, get your hands dirty, try something new and spend proper time together. No pressure to be creative. No need to be good at pottery. Just come as you are and enjoy the experience.
Gather your crew, choose your date, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Most Palmfolk experiences are private events, created just for your group. Birthdays, corporate team-building, hens’ parties, girl’s night out, or simply an excuse to get everyone together. Day or night, weekday or weekend, we can tailor the experience to suit your plans.
We also host a small number of Open Events each month for those who’d like to join us without organising their own group. Spaces are limited, so keep an eye on what’s coming up.
Our studio is open anytime by private booking, just for you.

PALMFOLK FOR KIDS
There’s no denying, kids love making a mess. Book them in for some creative clay time and let us do the clean up. There’s lots on offer at Palmfolk for kids, from our Vacay Clay workshops, to term time Clay Club, and Birthday Parties that dreams are made of.
Sitting unloved for years and hiding behind its black facade and mass of weeds, we set about bringing life back into this lovely old 1930’s beach house. Locals will know, it’s been a (long!) labor of love, but it was all worth it because we know you’re going to love it as much as we do. Stepping inside you can feel the calm of the space wash over you, like arriving at a well loved holiday house. Think of it as your own mini vacay, right here at home. It’s a dream space and we just know it’s going to become your new favourite place to meet friends, escape from the stresses of your week, or to celebrate your next special event.
